GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The NAIA Indoor Track and Field National Championships took place this week in Gainesville, Florida, and the Loyola Wolf Pack program had four qualify for four different events. Ollie Brumfield IV (200 meters), Caleb Curry (600 meters), Tenosh Landry (High Jump), and Jordyn Minor (Long Jump) all competed throughout the weekend.

Minor led things off for the Wolf Pack on Friday, placing 22nd in the NAIA with a long jump performance of 5.40 meters. She hit that mark on her second jump, and she was less than .3 of a meter away from making the finals in a jam-packed long jump leaderboard.

Curry next competed in the 600-meter preliminaries later Friday afternoon, and he ran a 1:21.53 to place 20th nationally. His run was the third-best 600-meter run in program history, too, just missing his own program record by a little over a second.

Brumfield placed 13th in the 200-meter dash a few hours after Curry's run, finishing with a time of 21.80. That goes down as the second-fastest time in program history, only behind his own program record time of 21.57.

Landry wrapped up Loyola's time at the national championship meet on Saturday, placing 13th with a jump of 1.61 meters. That matches her second-best personal mark, which was also the fifth-best jump in program history, she hit last year.
